Anti-Money Laundering Policy
A. Why we verify
Checks keep your account safe and keep crime out of our casino.
You can sign up with us only if the laws of your region permit online play. Our checks on age, identity and money laundering follow Canadian rules. Checking each player lets us block fraud, stolen payment methods, play by minors and any effort to push dirty money through our games. It keeps you protected, and it keeps us protected as well.
B. Identity and age checks
Your identity is verified before you make a first deposit.
When you sign up, we ask for your email, birth date, full name and home address. We compare these with reliable data sources to confirm you are 19 or over and located in a region we serve. At times we also need documents:
- A current photo ID issued by the government, like your passport or driver's licence.
- A bank statement or utility bill, recently issued, that displays your residential address.
- Evidence that your name is on the payment method, like a screen capture of your online banking or e-wallet account.
- A photo of yourself holding your ID, if we have to compare your face with a document.
Clear colour photos or scans are fine. We handle everything you send as set out in How We Handle Your Data.
C. Public office and sanctions screening
We screen every player against official lists.
We screen every player to see if they are a politically exposed person (PEP). A PEP is someone who holds a high-ranking public role or used to, along with their relatives and close contacts. Every player is also checked against sanctions lists from Canada and around the world.
Being a PEP does not lead to an automatic refusal. We may ask for more information, and a senior team member must give approval before you can keep playing. If we confirm a match on a sanctions list, we are unable to open an account for you. These checks happen at sign-up and are repeated periodically.
D. Ongoing monitoring
We keep an eye on your account activity the whole time you play with us.
Our systems and our trained team look for warning signs, such as:
- Deposits far above your usual pattern.
- Money deposited and then cashed out with little or no play.
- Several accounts or payment methods linked to one person.
- Payment methods owned by another person.
- Log-ins from locations we do not serve.
Each person can have only one account. All payment methods on it need to be in your name. Where possible, we pay winnings back to the method you used to deposit.
E. Source of funds
For larger or unusual activity, we check where your money comes from.
In such cases we ask for documents proving the money is yours and was obtained lawfully, for example payslips, bank statements, tax records, or paperwork tied to an inheritance or a property sale. Withdrawals stay on hold until we are satisfied that the checks are finished.
F. When a check fails
No verification means no play.
If a document is missing, blurry or doesn't line up with your account details, your deposits, withdrawals and play stay paused until the problem is sorted. We close the account if we find fake documents, a payment method held in another person's name, or any tie to crime. Where the law requires it, we freeze funds and notify the right authorities. Full details are in the Player Agreement.
G. Records and reporting
We keep records and report what Canadian law requires.
We keep identity records, transaction histories and check results for the time set by Canadian law. We report any suspicious transaction, plus some large ones, to the proper Canadian authorities. The law can sometimes forbid us to let the player know about a filed report. Our team is taught to notice signs of risk and flag them for further checks.
