Underage Gambling Policy

A. Adults only: 19+

Thunder Bay Casino is for players aged 19 and up only.

Sign-ups are accepted only from regions with laws that allow online play. Our age, ID and money laundering checks all follow Canadian standards. Having a parent's permission makes no difference. As set out in the Player Agreement, you may not register anyone younger than 19, and you may not let them use your account to play.

B. If we find a minor

We act straight away.

• We block the account at once.
• All bets are cancelled and any winnings are void.
• Deposits are paid back to whichever method was used to make them.
• We search for any other accounts tied to this person, their device or their payment method.
• Adults who let a minor play could lose their own account too.

C. How we check age

We confirm age before any real money changes hands.

• Your date of birth is requested during registration.
• We match your details against trusted data sources.
• We request ID documents when the data check is not enough.
• We confirm your location before your first deposit.
• We check again whenever emails, payments or account activity suggest a younger player.

D. Shared devices at home

A few simple habits help keep kids away from your account.

• Log out whenever you finish playing.
• Do not let your browser or apps remember your password.
• On devices the whole family shares, give every child their own profile.
• Lock phones and tablets with a fingerprint, face recognition or a PIN.
• Store your cards and e-wallet passwords where children cannot reach them.

E. Parental controls and filtering

Built-in and add-on tools can block gambling sites.

Most game consoles, computers, phones and tablets have parental controls built in that limit websites, apps and purchases. Many internet providers also offer content filters for home networks. Blocking tools like Gamban / GamBlock keep gambling sites off any device they are installed on.

Chatting openly about gambling with the kids and teens at home also helps. Let them know casino games are for adults only.
